In 2017, Haus des Stiftens and SAP launched the initiative Meet and Code aiming to awake the interest of children, teenagers and young adults in computer coding.
Haus des Stiftens is responsible of the initiative and furthermore responsible for selecting the projects to be funded in the countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, Haus des Stiftens coordinates the funding of the Meet and Code project together with the responsible country partners within the TechSoup-Europe network.

Haus des Stiftens gGmbH is a social enterprise that aims to facilitate effective engagement and contribute to the common good within the framework of the Global Goals. To this end, together with its partners, it offers support for donors, companies and nonprofit organizations. Haus des Stiftens was founded in 1995 by the nonprofit Brochier Foundation, which is still its sole shareholder. With the IT portal Stifter-helfen, Haus des Stiftens has been committed to digitalization in the nonprofit sector since 2008 and is part of the TechSoup Global Network.

The Global Goals
Haus des Stiftens offers its services to donors, nonprofit organizations and corporations so that they can use more resources for the Global Goals in a sustainable and effective manner. Haus des Stiftens also contributes to the achievement of several Global Goals with the Meet and Code project. The initiative's categories are based on Global Goals 5, 10, 11, 13 and 17.
