Enhancing Robotics Education with Ohbots in Mr. Sage's and Mrs. Mills' Computing Clubs

Opis 1a. The event focuses on teaching coding and robotics skills. Participants will learn to program and control Ohbots, which are programmable robotic heads.

1b. Hands-on Activities: Students will program Ohbots to perform various tasks, including speech, movement, and expressions.
Interactive Learning: Real-world applications of coding and robotics are incorporated through the use of Ohbots.
Collaborative Projects: Students will work together on projects, fostering teamwork and collective problem-solving skills.
Guided Instruction: Both Mr. Sage and Mrs. Mills will provide guidance and support to the students in their respective clubs.

2. Increase Engagement: Make robotics and coding more engaging and interactive, encouraging more students to participate and sustain their interest in these fields.
Enhance Learning: Provide hands-on robotics activities that help students understand programming concepts and the mechanics of robots.
Support Collaborative Learning: Promote teamwork and collective problem-solving skills through collaborative projects involving Ohbots.
Expand Resources: Provide additional resources to enhance the learning experience in both Mr. Sage's and Mrs. Mills' computing clubs.

3. The event targets students in Mr. Sage's and Mrs. Mills' computing clubs, with a focus on inclusivity and diversity. This includes underserved and underrepresented groups such as:
- Individuals with migration and refugee backgrounds
- Students from low-income households or disadvantaged economic backgrounds
- Residents of socially deprived neighbourhoods
- Students without access to their own IT devices
- Ethnic minorities
- Children and youth with disabilities

4. Bridging the Digital Divide: Provides access to quality educational resources for students who may not have their own IT devices.
