Register Your Organization and Submit Your Event

Are you a charitable organization keen to organize a digital/coding event for young people? Do you already have a great idea? Then what are you waiting for – you are ready to get registered!

All you need is your exemption notice and/or proof of your charitable status, as well as the IBAN and BIC of your organization, for funding to be provided.

To submit an event, first enrol your charity and select your username and password. This will allow you to return and manage your user account. Your submitted event will be reviewed according to the accepted criteria and we will notify you by email.

The following basic criteria apply to event ideas:

  1. Each event must revolve around the theme of technology and coding.
  2. The event must take place between 17 June and 31 October, 2024.
  3. The target audience are children and youth between 8 and 24 years old.
  4. Participation in the event must be free of charge.
  5. The event must be designed to last a minimum duration of 240 minutes.
  6. Each event must cater to a minimum of 20 children and youth. The events should ideally be focused on, and include children and youth with underserved and underrepresented (UU) backgrounds*.

*Underserved and underrepresented groups mean, among other things people with migration and refugee background, from low income households/disadvantaged economic backgrounds, from socially deprived neighbourhoods, with no access to own IT device, ethnic minorities, and children and youth with disabilities.

On your marks, get set, register!

To register and submit a Meet and Code Event is easy. Follow there four simple steps: 

  1. Create an account: Please select your username and password. This will allow you to return and manage your account. 

  1. Connect your account with a non-profit organization: Only charitable non-profit organizations can submit Meet and Code events. Your status as a charitable non-profit organization will be validated by your local TechSoup partner - in Ireland, this is Enclude. Once validated, non-profits then receive a validation token on their account.

    • If you are already registered and validated at the TechSoup platform via Enclude, then please log in and source your validation token to proceed.  
    • If you are new at the TechSoup platform for Enclude - then please follow the registration process and ensure your organisation is validated and return to the Meet and Code website with your token. Please note, that you will need your exemption notice or another proof of charitable status for the registration and that the validation may take one week to complete.  
  2. Finalize your profile: We then ask you for just a few more details including the Account IBAN and BIC for funding to be provided. 

  3. Submit one (or more) event ideasTo submit an event idea, please prepare a detailed description of the event concept, valid contact details, and a photo that represents the event.  

Your submitted event will be reviewed according to the accepted criteria and we will notify you by email about the funding decision.
