Description
CODEMEET is a tech-based skill-up event with a focus on the latest technology tools to enhance the young one’s skills. The event will show participants on how to design a website using HTM, CSS. e.t.c
METHOD:
We hope to engage via physical and practical session, one student to a computer to practice tasks given by the instructors:
RESOURCES
Presentations and Workshops: These are common methods to convey information and engage participants. They can be led by experts and industry leaders.
Interactive Sessions: Including Q&A sessions, polls, and live feedback to keep participants engaged.
Digital Resources: Use of event apps, websites, and social media for sharing information and updates.
Printed Materials: Brochures, flyers, and handouts distributed during the event.
Visual Aids: Slideshows, videos, and infographics to enhance understanding and retention.
Networking Opportunities: Structured networking sessions and informal meet-and-greets to facilitate connections among participants.
EVENT GOALS
The goal of this event is to educate and train the younger ones within the ethnic minority community thereby providing knowledge and skills to enable them to compete in the job market. We hope to provide an atmosphere for engagement, creating an interactive and memorable experience and facilitating connections amongst attendees. Feedback Collection: Gathering insights and opinions from participants to inform future events or initiatives.
TARGET GROUP
Our target group is college Students and students out of college waiting for university admission: as Those seeking knowledge and networking opportunities in their area of study.
WHAT MAKES YOUR EVENT SPECIAL FOR THE TARGET GROUP
our target group is mainly individuals under immigration control. The reason that anyone in the UK with less than 3 years of stay pays as an international student for any course in the university and that is quite expensive, none of the immigrants at this stage advance to acquire a university education even if they so desire they are incapacitated by the cost. Our project is to equip these minds while waiting for 3 years to be able to pay as local which is relatively affordable. We hope to engage them within this period and equip them with relevant skills to prepare them for the job market and also for the university course they hope to study.
