3D Printing - Year 5

Scotts Primary School

Description Year 5 pupils currently complete a computing topic which focus on architecture and pupils learn how technology is used to design 3D objects and spaces.

Due to the absence of 3D printing equipment available in school, pupils currently miss out on being able to use technology to see the final result of their creations in 3D.

Therefore, any received funding would be used to purchase simple 3D printing equipment which can then be used by pupils to print miniature models. E.g. small sculptures or buildings designed in SketchUp.

The equipment would be used by year 5 pupils (aged 9-10 years old).
