Rishworth School

Description The aim of the event is to provide and opportunity for participants to participate in a STEM based activity to promote computer science as a creative subject. Students will work in small teams to design, build and program a hovercraft to race around a course. Participants will be given a range of household waste such as cardboard, plastic bags, plastic bottles, food trays. The challenge will be to build a working hovercraft. The students will learn to control motors, and send radio signals and how to connect the motors and servos to the Micro-bits.
