Description
Create.withcode.uk is a free web environment that allows students to write, run, debug and share python code.
Students at Fulford (and many other schools) use it to learn the practical programming skills needed to thrive in Computer Science. The Create with code 3d competition is designed for KS4 students who want to develop confidence with python skills by writing code that creates 3d worlds in a blocky minecraft style.
Students will be taught how to use loops and read data from a file to generate 3d environments using the free web platform before being released to design and code a 3d world on the theme of "identity".
The event will run in person for students at Fulford but video resources will be shared with other schools to help boost participation for under represented groups across the city
Schools will submit the best entries to be judged by STEM club students at Fulford School with the best entries being awarded prizes.
