Description
The children will receive micro:bit training to learn different ways of using these devices.
The goal of the event is to raise interest in coding and computing amongst our Year 6 cohort and to showcase real life applications of computing and coding
Year 6 are our target year
This is Weddington Primary's 'bulge' year. All other year groups are 2 form entry, however their Year 6 is 3 form entry. This has meant their computing experiences have been more limited due to time and resource constraints. This will also help to prepare them for their high school computing experiences
