Description
I run a digital leaders club during the Autumn term. The digital leaders then assist me in running a club open to all of KS2 (giving them a chance to teach pupils their new found skills).
I would like to incorporate some more physical coding. The Ohbot Robot ensures the students will have the chance to use block coding to control a physical robot. This interactive experience can enhance their understanding and make coding more tangible for them. Additionally, since the Ohbot Robot is compatible with Scratch, a platform the children are already familiar with, it will provide them with a seamless transition from virtual coding to real-world application.
Including the Ohbot Robot in the club will not only enable the digital leaders to develop their skills but also allow them to assist other KS2 students during the Spring and Summer terms. This collaborative approach will cultivate a sense of teamwork and mentorship among the students.
The club is weekly during lunchtime.
