This event will consist of a workshop focusing on the STEM elements required to build and program a simple wheeled robot, culminating in a balloon popping battle.
The elements of the workshop will be as follows:
Introduction to the Raspberry Pi
Introduction to the basic parts required
- Chassis
- Drive Mechanisms
- Motors and Motor Driver Board
- Micro Processor
- Controller
Introduction to the programming environment
Programming the software
Building and testing the Robot
Battling
Introduction to future possibilities - sensors - robot uses
