This year, in cooperation with the University of Mannheim we were able to measure the impact of our initiative on participants and organisations.
#meetandcode
25.11.2019
Participants:
Before the Meet and Code events only 30% rated their coding knowledge as rather high to high. After the event, this was increased to nearly 60% (doubled).
Taking part in the Meet and Code events had a positive impact on participants’ self-efficacy, confidence, learning orientation, and interest in IT.
More than 82% of participants agree that the events fully met their expectations. 84% agree that the events were a lot of fun.
Participants perceptions after the event are slightly more positive than their expectations before the event (expectations were exceeded).
NPOs:
The organizations’ perceptions after the event were even more positive than their expectations before the event (expectations were exceeded). Exception: connecting with other organizations.
The participation in Meet and Code improved their attitudes and openness towards new technologies.
More than 80% of partner organizations say that through participating in the event they became more aware of the potential of new technologies. More than 84% say that they received new impulses.
