First Up: Coding for Climate Action with Digit<all> (April 25th, 4-5 PM GMT; 5-6PM CEST)
This webinar aims to ignite a movement toward integrating technology and environmental education. You'll walk away with key learnings and actionable insights on how to leverage coding to develop early warning systems, ultimately mitigating the impacts of natural disasters.

Developed by Amazon Future Engineer with Digit<all> and the Micro:bit Foundation, the Coding for Climate Action program fosters sustainability and environmental awareness by encouraging students (primary and secondary) to code early warning systems for natural hazards.

The webinar will explore the various resources available for your workshop or classroom. You'll learn how to leverage these resources to enable students (from Key Stages 2 and 3) to:
  • Explore natural hazards
  • Creatively design and develop solutions for monitoring potential hazards
  • Transmit messages to communities, facilitating informed action
