Meet and Code is officially in full swing, and we are thrilled to see more youth being upskilled when it comes to the digital world, coding and IT.  Plus, we have some exciting things happening this year which we’re looking forward to:

  1. In-person Meet and Code events are back! Following two years of virtual and hybrid events, we are welcoming back face-to-face workshops this year. We’ll be posting some of the amazing events across our social pages (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram) from now onwards. Make sure you don’t miss out on seeing what innovative ideas our NPOs have in store and how they are igniting a passion for all things digital among Europe’s youth.

  1. Our Meet and Code Superstar search is in full swing. If you would like to enter yourself, or nominate someone else, follow us on our Facebook and/or Twitter pages and share a 30-second video of the candidate explaining why they should be our next Meet and Code Superstar. Make sure you use the hashtag #meetandcodesuperstar. We will also need you to tag @meetandcode when you post your video on either platform. We would like to encourage all of our NPOs to nominate participants from their events too. Find out the criteria and learn more here.

Don’t miss out! There is still time for NPOs to apply for funding. NPOs can register their ideas on www.meet-and-code.org before September 14th and receive a grant of up to 500 euro to bring their creative events to life.

Need inspiration? Look no further.

We wish all our participating NPOs great success for Meet and Code 2022. Here’s to another year of empowering Europe’s youth with the digital skills they need now and into the future.
