In the past meet and code events, we introduced kids into the world of programming by using scratch in 3 different towns. It was great fun. Now we want kids to have even more fun in programming by introducing some advanced concepts.
This time the participants will program a playful game which makes them understand the need to keep the environment safe. In this game, random environmental unfriendly objects like plastics, paper etc. shall be thrown on a grass field. The participants shall try to hit and remove the environmental unfriendly objects within a given time. They gain plus points for any correct hit and negative points for a wrong decision. At the end the person who gets the highest points within the time limit wins.
This event targets young people between the ages of 12 and 24 already have some basic knowledge of Scratch.
We shall start by explaining some basic principles of programming before diving into coding the game.
With this activity the kids will continue to improve on their knowledge of coding and at the same time learn about what is good or bad for their environment.
This is an online event. Participants will get all information they need when they register
