The event will use scratch which allows young people to create digital stories, games and animations. Scratch encourages critical thinking, problem solving, communication and digital literacy.
Methods used:
-demonstration from instructors, step by step examples.
- pair programming
- peer teaching
Goals of event are :
-skill development in basic coding
- problem solving
-confidence building in using coding tools
- improve creativity and innovation
- accessible learning for all
- having fun and engaging in interactive learning
Event is for children in a rural primary school, alot of who don't have access to IT devices and group of which come from low income households.
