Girls in Tech Luxembourg is one of the organizations that took part in the 2023 edition of Meet and Code. Here's a look back at their experience and their project funded.
It can feel lonely to be a woman in tech. Girls in Tech started this chapter with the vision of creating a community of like-minded women who could support and encourage one another right here in Luxembourg.
Plus, they are part of a larger community of more than 70,000 people around the world. So, when you join this chapter, you get the best of both. Imagine interacting with people from different backgrounds who share your desire to see tech evolve — and also participating in a workshop with people you can meet for lunch. That’s what they provide through this local chapter of Girls in Tech.

AI for families was a great success! Families had the opportunity to explore face recognition and AI while creating their own Snapchat filters with the guidance of AI experts. Curious young minds were filled with invaluable insights and knowledge about technology from our fantastic panelists from List Science, Lux Tech School, SES Satellites, and Workshop4ME. Together, we’re paving the way for a more inclusive tech future.
To celebrate and kick-off the EU Code Week and the robotics week, GITLux and Workshop4Me collaborated to deliver an afternoon dedicated to Artificial Intelligence for parents and their children, promoting digital awareness and inclusion.
An estimated audience of around 100 people joined (between parents and children together). Adults and children ages ranging min. 11-18yo.
