Molesey Scouts Make Code Event

1st Molesey Scout Group

Description The event will involve 3 Wednesday evenings in October and be hosted at our Scout Hut in West Molesey.

We will be inviting 8 to 14 year olds to take part in sessions to learn how to programme microbits and aditionally solder components onto a PCB.

The event will be free and open to all, including some of our families that come from low income households and a number of children with additional needs/disabilities.

This event will give children a chance to code for the first time, and allow them access to tools/hardware that they might not otherwise have access to. It will support with the development of key digital skills that are further developed during secondary education in the UK.
